GBTC — How’d They Know?

Often it seems that the traders of GBTC know what is going to happen with the price of Bitcoin ahead of time. Yeah maybe it’s just good technical analysis on their traders part but to move all of GBTC in a certain direction seems strange.

Example 1: Below you will see that on Nov 25th (right before Thanksgiving), although BTC was roughly flat, GBTC had a precipitous drop off in price right before market close. GBTC dumped to what would be an equivalent BTC price of about $17,750 (see below left x-axis across from GBTC price of $20.87). It made no sense at the time, because you can see…
